Compact Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)

The compact variable freuency drive is suitable for several applications where only power and torque are needed (no position / servo applications. Typical applications for this variable frequency drive (VFD) are compressors, fans, pumps, conveyors, hoisting applications, mixers, etc.
The compact single-phase frequency controller is powered by a single-phase 220-240Vac and provides 220-240Vac output to the electric motor. As a result, it is suitable for asynchronous AC motors / three-phase motors / induction motors.
The control method is based on V/F (Voltage Frequency ratio) and slip compensation or with Vector Control. Control can be achieved using digital inputs, a potentiometer, and operation of the display.

The simplicity of this compact frequency controller translates into ease of configuration and robustness/reliability. Additionally, the compact design and preparation for DIN rail mounting make this frequency controller easily integrable in a panel or control cabinet.

The compact frequency inverter is equipped with a built-in EMC filter.

Special heavy-duty coating of the electrical components provides protection against dust, moisture, chemical exposure, and vibrations. The compact frequency controller is designed with the aim of minimizing EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and complies with the European Directive 2002/95/EC, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in electrical and electronic equipment.
